Everything. You get full access to all features for 14 days — properties, transactions, receipt scanning, reports, bank linking, the works. No features are held back.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign in with Google and your trial starts immediately. You'll only enter payment info if you decide to subscribe after the trial.

What happens when my trial ends?

Your data stays safe. You just won't be able to add or edit until you pick a plan. You can subscribe at any time to pick up right where you left off.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings with one click — no emails, no phone calls. Your subscription runs until the end of the billing period.

Yes. Your data is stored in a secure, encrypted database. We use Google OAuth for authentication and Stripe for payment processing — we never see or store your password or card number.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export your transactions to CSV anytime from the reports page. Your data is yours.

What's the difference between plans?

Every plan includes the full feature set. The only difference is how many buildings you can track — Starter covers 1, Growth up to 5, Pro up to 10, and Portfolio is unlimited.

Privacy Policy - Renovate Hub

Renovate Hub ("Renovate Hub," "we," "us," or "our") provides rental property bookkeeping and portfolio management software (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We use this to create and identify your account. We never see or store your Google password.

Property and financial data you provide

Information you enter into the Service — properties, units, portfolios, income and expense transactions, rehab projects, receipts, and notes — is stored so the Service can display and analyze it for you.

Bank account information (Plaid)

If you choose to connect a bank account, that connection is handled by Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"), a third-party financial data provider. We receive and store an access token that lets us request your transaction and account data from Plaid on your behalf; we do not receive or store your online banking username or password — those are entered directly with Plaid or your bank, not with us. Your use of Plaid is also governed by Plaid's own privacy policy and end-user terms.

Payment information (Stripe)

Subscription billing is handled by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). When you subscribe, your payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's checkout and billing pages — we never receive or store your full card number. We do store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so we can determine your plan and billing status.

Receipts and uploaded files

Receipt images and PDFs you upload are stored in our object storage provider. If you use AI-powered receipt scanning, the image is sent to OpenAI's API to extract fields like vendor, amount, and date; OpenAI processes that image to return the extracted data and does not become a source of ongoing marketing to you.

Usage and technical data

We collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and we use Google Analytics / Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how visitors find and use our marketing pages.

To process your subscription and send billing-related communications
To sync and display your linked bank transactions, if you connect an account
To send account-related emails (welcome, plan changes, cancellation confirmations)
To respond to support requests and feedback you submit
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate Renovate Hub, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

Google — sign-in authentication
Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
Plaid — bank account linking and transaction sync
OpenAI — AI-powered receipt data extraction (only when you use that feature)
Resend — transactional email delivery
Our hosting and database providers — to run and store the Service

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described here.

Data Security

Your data is stored in an encrypted database with access controls, and connections to the Service are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Bank access tokens and payment details are handled by Plaid and Stripe respectively under their own security programs; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

Data Retention

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains associated with your account so you can pick up where you left off if you resubscribe. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).

Your Rights and Choices

You can export your transaction data to CSV at any time from the Reports page.
You can disconnect a linked bank account at any time from Connected Accounts.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
You can revoke Renovate Hub's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings.

Children's Privacy

Renovate Hub is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
